Audit
Process. Basically, the audit process consists of three general phases:
planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
Substantial time is generally spent on each
of these phases with perhaps more time being spent on completing the fieldwork.
Today, we have
to be able to do more with less and become more efficient and effective. Consequently, more time is being spent
up-front in the planning phase of the audit and less time doing fieldwork and
preparing the audit report.
Planning. After receiving and discussing
the audit assignment with Audit management, the planning phase of the audit
encompasses several activities. This
seminar addresses each of these important steps, including activities which
will result in a more efficient and efficient audit and a better quality
end-product.
